A new series, yay! :boogie:

I first had this idea to draw representatives of different artisan crafts/professions when I saw Bougeureau's "The Spinner" ages ago (and yes I most certainly want to do my own spinner! :D ).

The idea behind this series is to also showcase (sort of) various world cultures and historical artifacts. Here, the map in the background was referenced from an actual map created in the 16th century by the Ottoman-Turkish admiral and cartographer Piri Reis.

Watercolor, colored pencils, and ink on Bristol, 11X14".
