Artist's Comments

The title is self-explanatory, I think. On the left you've got good dreams, on the right nightmares, and in the middle the dude responsible for it all. Oil on illustration board, 15x20".

Only angels hear her sing

This is a very lovely piece. I like the concept of it a lot. It's so very original. I believe that, anatomicaly, this picture is perfect, especially Morpheus. He has a gorgeous body. I love the skin tone you used for him. The statue on the garden is marvelous too. And I like the butterflies. They're such a sweet touch.

You've got to be one of the best artists here, I'm very glad I bothered to look at your gallery, sometimes I ignore people who comment or watch/fav my stuff. Naughty me, this'll teach me a lesson, I might have really missed out. I love this one especially because it's a great composition. It all fits together very well and looks so organized. I have a hard time with that since I always go off track from my original idea once I start drawing. I need to learn the value of sketching first I suppose.
So what did you use to do this? Paint? The detail and precision is amazing. I have to watch you.
