DA pet-peeves

Since I'm in a whiny mood, I decided to whine here a bit.

Things I'm REALLY tired of on DA (in no particular order):

- Half-naked chicks smeared with fake blood, often occupying an old dirty bathtub. Like, WOW, how original (NOT).  

- Same %^$&*#@ people with same $^@$!*@ stuff on the front page every &*#%!~$ day. Some of them very much deserve it... most don't. (No, I'm not jealous, so STFU).

- Badly executed photos of people with various "deep" messages painted either a) across their chests; b) across their backs; c) on their faces; d) on signs they're holding, and especially, e) on duct tape covering their mouths.

- Badly conceived, badly executed, out-of-focus photos getting DDs.

- Obviously Photoshopped photos claiming to be raw, and obvious paintovers claiming to be "freehand paintings from scratch"... getting DDs.   

- Goth/fetish/emo/otaku pierced/tattooed androgynous talentless fantard hacks with their softcore porn Naruto yaoi crap getting a million pageviews.

- Pictures of naked demon chicks with enormous boobs doing naughty things with their pointy tails.

- Pictures of naked furry chicks with enormous furry boobs doing naughty things with their furry tails.

- Godawful "drawings" glorifying bizarre fetishes (i.e. obesity/pregnancy/menstruation/etc. fetishes... I mean, come ON).

- Cliques and elitist attitudes (in my experience, this is especially common among digital artists... Is it just me, or do many of them act like they’re gods-given gift to humanity? )

- Blatant exhibitionists taking crappy photos of their "assets" and calling it "art".  

- Holier-than-thou "stock artists"; who post crappy unusable 2x2"; snapshots accompanied by a page of "terms and conditions"; that basically say you "must sell you soul to use them"; (as quite nicely put by a fellow deviant).

- The "ZOMG WOW" comments.

- People who don't read deviation descriptions and spam you with comments like "what did you use to draw this"; when it's spelled out quite clearly in the description.  

- People who disrespect your "Critique Not Desired"; request and criticize to their hearts' content (and if you happen to point out that you do not want criticism, launch on a page-long lecture demanding to know why you don't want it and then explaining how it's good for you. )

- Non-Japanese deviants whose user IDs end with either -kun or -chun, who constantly use words like "kawaii"; and "desune"; and pretend to be anime characters or Japanese schoolgirls.

- Popularity whores (who 99% of the time also happen to be gargantuan drama queens).

- Pointless polls and journal entries. (This NOT being one of them. )

- Bad photomanips of George Bush trying to portray him as either ape or Satan.

- Psycho flamers, stalkers and spammers.

- RIPPERS and ART THIEVES. (Thought I was gonna forget that one? Yeah right.)
